Bulgaria has nearly 250km of coastline along the Black Sea.
There has been much criticism of the over development of the coast with huge hotel complexes and apart-hotels springing up (often illegally) any where a plot of land large than a postage stamp could be found with a sea view.
To a large extent, just like anywhere in Europe with a coastline there has been much development. However, there are still some fantastic places for you to go and check out which have either been tastefully developed so as to remain unspoilt or just left completely untouched.
